Exterior Painter (Temporary Project – Immediate Start)
IronWhale Exteriors is looking for a motivated and reliable Exterior Painter to join our team for a temporary project with an immediate start. The project is expected to run until approximately mid-September 2026.
This position is ideal for someone with exterior painting or general construction experience who is comfortable working outdoors, takes pride in quality workmanship, and works well as part of a team.
Job Details

- Location: Calgary
- Schedule: Monday through Saturday
- Hours: 10 hours per day
- Pay: $24.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Prepare exterior surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, masking, and caulking.
- Apply exterior paints, primers, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Perform minor surface preparation and repairs as required.
- Work safely from ladders and scaffolding while following all safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
- Deliver high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Previous exterior painting experience is preferred.
- Candidates with robust construction experience may also be considered.
- Comfortable working at heights and using ladders.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
