Job Description

We are looking for friendly, reliable, and punctual Customer Service Associates / Cashiers to join our team at Shell. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to daily commuters and local customers while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, process transactions quickly and accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system, and handle cash, debit, and credit card payments.

Compliance & Age Verification: Verify valid identification for age-restricted products such as tobacco and lottery tickets in compliance with Alberta regulations.

Store Operations: Restock shelves, coolers, and display racks; maintain proper inventory arrangement and product presentation.

Cleanliness & Maintenance: Keep the counter area, sales floor, coffee station, and restrooms clean, sanitized, and organized.

Pump & Forecourt Monitoring: Assist customers with fuel pump queries or issues and monitor the forecourt area for safety.

Daily Routines: Complete shift tasks, basic opening/closing procedures,



and cash balancing.

Requirements & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior customer service or cashier experience in a gas station, convenience store, or retail environment is an asset.

Strong basic math skills and comfortable operating cash registers/POS terminals.

Reliable transportation to ensure punctual arrival for scheduled shifts.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20–30 lbs when stocking merchandise.

Excellent communication skills, dependability, and a positive team attitude.

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Schedule & Availability

Day, Evening, Overnight, and Weekend shifts available.
