Overview
This is a full-time position 44 hours/week plus evenings and weekends if required

Responsibilities

- Manufacturing and service work on heavy haul trailers.
- Reporting to lead mechanic you will be providing mechanical skills were needed.
- A vast array of tasks expected from brakes, bearings, suspensions, air systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, remote controls, small engines etc.
- Customer fabrication and installation of new and/or existing plumbing on trailers.
- Aiding team in performing inspections, maintenance, and preventative maintenance of shop equipment.
- Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and other industrial machinery safely and efficiently during repair or fabrication tasks.
- Inspect vehicles and machinery for safety compliance; perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Document all repairs and maintenance activities thoroughly in service logs for accountability and future reference.

Minimum Requirements

- Trailer/Heavy Duty Mechanic ticket preferred but not required, apprentice applications welcomed.
- Must have a vast knowledge of trailer hydraulics and hydraulic systems.




- Experience in trailers and large transport equipment is considered an asset.
- Willing to learn new skills.
- Ability to read and follow directions as well as fluency in English.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work, Public transportation is not available.
- Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and heavy lifting gear safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
