Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscape Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in a vibrant outdoor environment. Duties

- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging using hand tools and power tools to keep outdoor areas pristine
- Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and mulching plants to promote healthy growth and vibrant landscapes
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and performing necessary repairs or adjustments
- Conduct regular inspections of landscaped areas to identify and address issues such as pests, disease, or damage
- Support general maintenance activities such as debris removal, soil aeration, and seasonal clean-ups to ensure the longevity of plantings




- Operate landscape equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute landscape projects that enhance aesthetic appeal and functionality

Skills

- Proficiency with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and spades for accurate gardening tasks
- Experience with horticulture principles including plant care, soil management, and pest control an asset
- Ability to operate power tools like trimmers, blowers, and lawn mowers safely and effectively
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques aimed at promoting healthy growth and visual appeal
- Familiarity with irrigation systems installation, troubleshooting, and repairs an asset
- Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions with the ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
