Position Overview

This is a hands-on, dynamic role ideal for someone with glazing and construction experience who enjoys both office coordination and field work.

The role is approximately 50% office-based and 50% on-site, supporting our project managers while also assisting with measurements, site coordination, and logistics. The successful candidate will be organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Support Project Managers in delivering commercial, residential, and multi-purpose construction projects from planning through closeout
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site activities to maintain schedule, productivity, and quality standards
- Perform material take-offs, calculate quantities, place orders, and coordinate pickup and delivery to project sites
- Manage material logistics including receiving, inspection, packaging, shipping, and on-site inventory control
- Transport materials and equipment using flat deck trailer as required
- Operate and oversee heavy machinery in compliance with safety standards




- Conduct site measurements and layout to ensure accurate installation and alignment with drawings
- Manage subcontractor performance and maintain quality control standards on site
- Track budgets, change orders, invoices, and cost reports to support financial oversight
- Monitor project schedules and provide regular progress updates to project teams
- Maintain structured project documentation logs and prepare meeting minutes
- Support QA/QC inspections, deficiency tracking, and project closeout activities
- Enforce WorkSafeBC and site safety compliance requirements
- Serve as designated First Aid Attendant on site, responding to incidents and maintaining safety documentation
- Perform service calls, maintenance work, waterproofing, leveling, and installation of products as required
- Execute custom work and specialized orders based on project specifications
- Ability to travel out of town for work assignments
- Facilitate clear communication between clients, trades, consultants, and internal teams
- Work with European and North American window systems, learning product specifications and installation requirements.

Required Qualifications

- 3-4 years of experience in coordination or a related role in the construction or the glazing industry.
- Hands-on experience with installation.
- Knowledge of window and door systems.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents.
- Solid proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with Excel formulas for tracking budgets and schedules.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Robust attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
