Overview
We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Operator/AZ Driver to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting chance to be at the forefront of our logistics operations, combining warehouse duties with commercial driving responsibilities. Duties
- Safely operate heavy equipment including forklifts and other warehouse machinery to load, unload, and organize freight
- Drive AZ commercial vehicles to transport freight between locations or to customer sites, adhering strictly to all safety regulations
- Conduct thorough inspections of freight and equipment before and after each shift to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Assist with inventory management by verifying shipments, updating logs, and maintaining accurate records of inbound and outbound freight
- Perform routine automotive repairs or troubleshooting on company vehicles and equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment,
ensuring all safety protocols are followed during daily operations
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate deliveries, pickups, and operational tasks
Requirements
- Valid AZ commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record. Newer drivers welcome!
- Proven experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment within a warehouse setting
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations related to commercial driving and warehouse operations
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on vehicles and equipment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly and stand for extended periods during shifts
- Prior experience with freight logistics or transportation is preferred but not mandatory
