Job Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and caring Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs) to join our team starting August 2025! This role involves supporting children in a Before and After School Program during the school year and working full-time during summer, March Break, and PA Days.

Successful candidates must be available to work at two program locations, depending on program needs.

- Facilitate engaging learning activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Provide individualized tutoring to students who may need extra assistance or enrichment in their studies.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of programs.
- Maintain a safe and supportive atmosphere for all students.

Responsibilities

- Plan and lead age-appropriate, engaging activities
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment
- Supervise and support children during indoor and outdoor play, transitions, and snack times
- Communicate effectively with families,



colleagues, and school staff
- Document children’s development and behaviours
- Follow health and safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

- Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) and in valuable standing
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check (dated within 6 months or willing to obtain)
- Up-to-date Immunization Record
- Ability to work at either of two program locations as required
- Team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills

Work Schedule

- Summer (July- August) : (5- 7.5 hours/day)
- School Year (September–June): Monday to Friday (7:00–9:00 AM and 3:00–6:00 PM)
- March Break & PA Days: Full-time (5- 7.5 hours/day)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
