Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Painter/Labourer to join our construction and restoration team. This role involves performing residential, commercial, and industrial painting projects, utilizing various hand and power tools, and supporting construction activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and experience in construction or related fields. Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and taping as needed
- Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during various tasks including rigging and carpentry
- Assist with demolition, site cleanup, and material handling to support project progress
- Support restoration projects by repairing surfaces and applying protective coatings
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and maintains a clean work environment




- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to meet project deadlines and quality expectations

Qualifications

- Previous construction experience or related background preferred
- Knowledge of construction painting, industrial painting, or restoration projects is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions accurately
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, rigging, carpentry, and caulking techniques
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service interactions
- Ability to work safely at heights or on scaffolding when required
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
- A valid license is preferred but not mandatory

Pay: $17.60-$31.52 per hour
