Job Summary
Dig’N Dirt Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Heavy Civil Construction Foreperson with layout experience. The ideal candidate will possess solid leadership abilities and proficiency with total station/GPS/CAD. This role involves supervising the crew's daily work and ensuring projects adhere to safety and quality standards. Physical labour may be required. The Foreperson will play a pivotal role in delivering successful projects on time and within scope, contributing to the overall success of our construction operations.

Responsibilities

- Proving leadership and coordination for employees reporting directly to you and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
- reviewing job requirements with the Construction Manager
- Read, interpret, and analyze blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate execution of plans.
- Ensuring infrastructure and materials are installed correctly as specified by the contract/project owner
- Conduct quality control inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety compliance.




- Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project execution.
- Monitor progress regularly, prepare reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders effectively.
- Enacting our Health and Safety program from a Forepersons level
- Identify potential risks or delays early and implement corrective actions promptly.

Qualifications & Skills

- 3-5 years experience in heavy civil construction
- Demonstrated supervising experience within the construction industry.
- Recognized supervisory training
- Excellent blueprint reading skills along with the ability to interpret schematics accurately.
- WHMIS, Working at Heights, CPR
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics for various construction disciplines.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating teams and liaising with clients or stakeholders.
- valid driver's license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
