Job Description

We are currently seeking a candidate to fill a Chef position. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for preparing meals for customers and/or guests

Main Responsibilities

The head chef plans, organizes, and oversees all kitchen activities. They are responsible for the quality of meals, inventory management, and more specifically:

· Planning meals by creating balanced, varied, and seasonal menus

· Plating and presentation of various dishes

· Procuring ingredients

· Inventory: managing stock rotation and minimizing food waste

· Storing prepared and unprepared food items, as well as maintaining inventory records

· Ensuring kitchen equipment functions properly and reporting any breakdowns

· Daily and weekly cleaning of work areas and equipment

Required Skills and Certifications

· Customer service oriented

· Quality oriented;

· Autonomous,



empathetic, respectful, humane, punctual, and professional

· Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in institutional cooking or equivalent.

· Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in cooking or hospitality.

· French or English required

Schedule and Benefits

· 30 hours per week

· Salary between $ 34.62 & $ 36.62 /h
