Soluna is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Cuisine to join our team and help lead the kitchen of our iconic supper club in the heart of Toronto.

As Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day kitchen operations, managing and mentoring the culinary team, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, beautifully executed dishes. You will work closely with the Executive team to develop and refine the menu while staying current with emerging culinary trends, techniques, and premium ingredients.

Responsibilities:

- Support and lead daily kitchen operations and service execution
- Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff
- Ensure quality, consistency, and elevated plating standards
- Assist with menu development and seasonal updates
- Monitor food costs, inventory, and ordering
- Maintain compliance with food safety and health regulations

Requirements:





- 3+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience
- Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments
- In-depth knowledge of Latin and Mediterranean cuisine, including traditional techniques, regional ingredients, and authentic flavour profiles, with the ability to reinterpret and modernize dishes
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Solid understanding of food costing and kitchen operations
- Food Handler Certification required
