I am seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide exceptional care and assistance to myslef, I’m in need of support as I have epilepsy and needing someone around is needed on my bad days. Responsibilities
- Assist client with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Support client with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster social engagement and mental well-being
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Monitor clients’ health status, report changes or concerns to healthcare professionals, and document care provided accurately
- Support client with mobility exercises or transfers (when needed) using proper techniques to prevent injury
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a Personal Support Worker or in similar caregiving roles
- Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and active listening abilities
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation efficiently while maintaining hygiene standards
- Valid certification as a Personal Support Worker or equivalent credential (where applicable)
