VG Engineering Inc has been in the noise, vibration, flow & dispersion industry since 2011. The manufacturing facility located in Breslau, is CWB & TSSA Certified and produces high quality custom metal fabricated products.

We are currently seeking TIG welder who is hardworking, detail oriented and dependable to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Lay out, fit, and assemble metal components to specified dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform welding operations (TIG & MIG) to join parts according to job requirements.
- Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, beveling, and cleaning surfaces for welding.
- Fit structural, plate, and custom assemblies using clamps, jigs, and fixtures.
- Set up and operate fabrication tools such as saws, grinders, drills, torches, and welding machines.
- Measure, align,



and check components to ensure accuracy before and after welding.
- Handle and move materials using cranes, hoists, forklifts, or manual methods.
- Inspect welds and assemblies for defects, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE use and hot‑work protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area to support safe and efficient operations.
- Report equipment issues or material shortages to supervisors or lead hands.

Qualifications

- Must be skilled in GTAW stainless steel sheet metal
- GMAW, FCAW welding of both carbon and stainless-steel experience an asset
- Experience with fabrication of sheet metal components including cones, transitions etc.
- Rigging, Forklift and Overhead crane experience required
- Operate fabrication tools such as grinders, drills and cutting torches
- Ability to work in a fast-based shop environment
- Problem solving skills
- Physically able to bend, kneel & stand and lift up to 50

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
