Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Care/General Maintenance person to join our team two to four days/week (weekends required). The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and a strong understanding of garden maintenance practices. This role involves working outdoors to ensure that lawns and gardens are well-maintained, healthy, and aesthetically pleasing. The Lawn Care Specialist will utilize various tools and equipment to perform tasks effectively while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools for lawn care tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging.
- Perform landscape maintenance activities such as planting, weeding, mulching, mowing/trimming and fertilizing.
- Dig and prepare soil for planting new flowers, shrubs, or trees as needed.
- Maintain garden beds or other landscape features to enhance the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces.
- Monitor the health of plants and lawns, identifying any issues such as pests or diseases.
- Coordinate with manager to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.

Requirements





- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate various power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while performing physical tasks.
- Familiarity with gardening techniques, plant care, and landscape design principles is a plus.
- Experience with minor electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients professionally.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation to job sites.

Pay: $16.75-$17.50 per hour
