We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic Technician – Industrial to join our maintenance team and ensure the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and equipment
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on conveyors, shredders, extruders, and production lines
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement corrective actions
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals
- Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and equipment
- Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation





Qualifications & Requirements:

- Completion of secondary school required
- Completion of an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) apprenticeship or 5 years of related experience
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, conveyors, and industrial equipment
- Experience in manufacturing or recycling industry preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Physically capable of handling heavy equipment and working in a fast-paced setting
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with welding and fabrication
- Knowledge of PLC systems (asset)
- Forklift or other equipment certification (asset)

Work Conditions:

- Physically demanding role (lifting, standing, bending)
- Exposure to noise, dust, and moving machinery
