Job Overview

Paloma Pressure Control Canada Ltd. is currently seeking Field Technicians to join our growing oilfield operations team supporting projects across Alberta and Northern B.C. We are hiring technicians with various levels of experience, from individuals looking to begin a career in the oilfield industry to experienced technicians capable of supporting advanced operations.

Successful candidates will work in field environments supporting operations involving wellheads, plug & perf operations, fracking support, pressure control equipment, torque tools, and hydraulic systems.

Positions are based out of Red Deer and Grande Prairie, with out-of-town work required around Alberta and Northern B.C.

Responsibilities

Field Technicians will assist with and support various oilfield operations, including:

- Rig-up and rig-down of oilfield equipment
- Supporting wellhead operations
- Assisting with plug & perf and fracking operations
- Operating and maintaining torque tools
- Working with pressure control equipment and pressure testing procedures
- Supporting the setup and operation of accumulators, hydraulic valves, and hydraulic systems
- Conducting routine equipment inspections and maintenance
- Maintaining tools,



equipment, and work areas in safe condition
- Following all company and site safety policies and procedures
- Working collaboratively with field crews to ensure safe and effective operations

Experience & Qualifications

We welcome candidates with varying levels of experience. Ideal applicants may have experience with:

- Wellhead systems
- Plug & Perf operations
- Fracking operations
- Pressure control equipment and pressure testing
- Torque tools
- Accumulators
- Hydraulic valves and hydraulic systems

Additional requirements:

- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Ability to work out of town and in remote field environments
- Ability to work long hours and physically demanding shifts
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude

Schedule & Work Structure

Work schedules may include:

- Rig-in / rig-out and support crew
- On-call work depending on operational demand
- Opportunity to transition into the Operations Team as experience and performance develop
