Wasabi Sushi & Grill is a popular Japanese restaurant in the heart of Vernon, known for our fresh, high-quality sushi, warm hospitality, and inviting atmosphere. We’re passionate about providing guests with a dining experience that is both delicious and memorable.

We are currently seeking a friendly, attentive, and energetic Server to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and seat guests with a positive attitude
- Present menus, explain sushi and grill items, and highlight specials
- Take customer orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality presentation
- Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Maintain cleanliness of tables and dining areas
- Handle payment transactions accurately




- Provide exceptional customer service from start to finish

Qualifications

- Previous serving experience (experience in Japanese or sushi restaurants is an asset).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with a skilled and friendly attitude.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
- Food Safe and/or Serving It Right certification.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.25 per hour
