Trees Organic Coffee at Gilmore Station is seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items according to company standards.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate cash handling and transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries professionally.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, snacks, and other menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food safety and handling procedures.
- Manage cash register operations with accuracy, including basic math calculations for transactions.
- Assist in serving customers both at the counter and in seating areas as needed.
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Follow all food safety regulations and health standards to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista or in the food industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
