Ensure the accuracy of all inbound receiving records and maintain the integrity of inventory data within the system, providing reliable reporting and discrepancy tracking to support inventory control.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive all inbound goods into the computer system
- Verify vendor packing slips against purchase orders for accuracy
- Maintain and update inventory records in the system to ensure accuracy
- Create and regularly review inventory/product codes (SKUs)
- Track, log, and follow up on inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records
- Produce regular inventory reports for management review
- Work with other departments to investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Perform inventory adjustments
- Analyze and troubleshoot inventory cost problems
- Process inventory counts in the system
- Other administrative duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative or data entry role
- Experience working with inventory or ERP systems
- Experience or knowledge of AI functions
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business administration or a related field is an asset
- Minimum 55 wpm typing speed at 95% accuracy

- Solid analytical skills for identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Proficiency with inventory/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel for reporting
- Detail oriented
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
