Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista/Cashier to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring their experience is enjoyable from start to finish.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with food safety and handling standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
- Assist in food preparation and serving as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards.




- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Previous barista experience or experience in the food industry is preferred.
- Solid customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Proficient in using POS systems; experience with Micros POS is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
