Job Summary
Windsor/Essex CPR & First Aid Training Inc. is seeking dedicated and knowledgeable Canadian Red Cross First Aid Instructors to deliver high-quality first aid training courses. The instructor will be responsible for teaching life-saving skills, ensuring participants understand and can confidently apply first aid techniques in emergency situations. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by empowering individuals with essential safety knowledge and skills. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, classroom experience, and a passion for teaching others.

Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging and informative first aid training sessions in accordance with Canadian Red Cross standards
- Prepare training materials, demonstrations, and practical exercises to enhance learning experiences
- Assess learner understanding through practical assessments and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all learners
- Stay current with the latest first aid protocols and updates from the Canadian Red Cross




- Foster a positive learning atmosphere that encourages questions and active participation

Experience

- Current Canadian Red Cross First Aid Instructor certificate required
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in a classroom setting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively
- Prior classroom experience is highly desirable to facilitate engaging instructional sessions
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse groups of learners
- Passion for education, safety, and community service
