Skeena River Lodge is seeking a motivated, organized, and hands-on Lodge Assistant to join our team. Located on the world-renowned Skeena River, our lodge provides an exceptional guest experience centered around world class fishing, outstanding hospitality, and a welcoming team environment.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast paced environment, and is happy to jump in wherever support is needed. You'll work closely with the Lodge Manager, helping ensure daily operations run smoothly while providing exceptional hospitality to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Lodge Manager with daily lodge operations.
- Float between departments and assist wherever needed throughout the day.
- Assist with housekeeping and room turnovers as required.
- Help with guest arrivals, departures, and shuttles.
-Provide support during breakfast, lunch, après, and dinner service.
- Assist guides and lodge staff with daily operational needs.
-Help maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the property.
- Complete administrative tasks as assigned.
- Lead by example and contribute to a positive, team orientated work environment.
Qualifications:
-Previous hospitality , lodge, hotel, restaurant or supervisory experience is considered an asset.
-Strong organizational and communication skills.
-Positive attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed.
-Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Valid Class 5 drivers licence.
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment.
- Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and varying shifts throughout the season.
