Nautical Nellies — recently named by The Globe and Mail as the best steak and seafood restaurant on the West Coast— is looking for an experienced and reliable Line Cook to join our high-performing kitchen team.

With over 28 years as one of Victoria’s busiest and most respected independent restaurants, we offer a fast-paced, professional environment where culinary standards are high and teamwork is everything.

What You’ll Be Doing

Preparing and plating high-quality steak, seafood, and classic sides to spec

- Maintaining clean, organized stations with a focus on speed and consistency
- Supporting fellow cooks, chefs, and dish staff to keep service smooth
- Following all food safety and cleanliness protocols
- Communicating clearly and calmly under pressure

What We’re Looking For





- 1–2+ years of experience in a high-volume or upscale kitchen
- Strong knife skills, prep experience, and an eye for detail
- Punctual, dependable, and focused under pressure
- Available for evening and weekend shifts (set schedule, 5 shifts/week)
- Someone who values quality and takes pride in their work
