Journeyperson & Apprentice Electricians - Mount Uniacke, NS

Located in Mount Uniacke, NS, our client is a well-established provider of electrical services, serving residential and commercial clients across the region.

Our client is currently looking for an Experienced Residential HVAC Service Specialist t to join their team. Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair residential heating, cooling, ventilation, and indoor air quality systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal inspections to ensure system efficiency.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and airflow issues in HVAC systems.
- Interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and use diagnostic tools to identify faults.
- Verify system performance post-repair to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability.
- Clearly communicate findings, repair options, and maintenance recommendations to homeowners.
- Maintain accurate digital service records and document all completed work.




- Manage service vehicle inventory and maintain company tools and equipment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, company procedures, and manufacturer specifications.
- Prioritize service calls while maintaining quality workmanship and professionalism.
- Provide honest recommendations and build long-term relationships with customers.

Qualifications

- Experience servicing residential HVAC equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across electrical, refrigeration, airflow, combustion, and control systems.
- Deep understanding of HVAC operating principles and system performance.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment, refrigerant gauges, vacuum pumps, and charging/recovery equipment.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
