Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Warehouse & Logistics Associate to support the day-to-day operations of our Kitimat branch. This role is responsible for warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory management, and local customer deliveries. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products are received, stored, and delivered accurately and efficiently while maintaining a safe and organized workplace.
This position is ideal for someone who is organized, customer-focused, and enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and report any discrepancies.
- Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment or pickup.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Perform local deliveries to customers using a company vehicle while providing excellent customer service.
- Ensure shipping documents, packing slips, and delivery records are completed accurately.
- Maintain accurate inventory through regular cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas to promote efficiency and safety.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with customer service, sales, purchasing,
and branch personnel to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Assist with coordinating daily warehouse and delivery activities to meet operational requirements.
- Perform other warehouse and logistics-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics, or industrial distribution experience.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating forklifts or willingness to obtain certification.
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office; ERP experience is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
