We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Customs Entry Clerks to join our team.
This position is ideal for candidates with experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or international logistics. We offer both office-based and Work From Home (WFH) opportunities for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Review, prepare, and process import and export customs documentation.
- Accurately complete customs entries in accordance with Canadian customs regulations.
- Monitor shipment clearance status and follow up on customs inspections, document requests, amendments, and releases.
- Communicate with customers, trucking companies, warehouses, customs brokers, and internal departments.
- Maintain accurate records and perform daily data entry in customs and logistics systems.
- Resolve shipment and customs clearance issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and CBSA regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customs brokerage,
freight forwarding, international logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of Canadian customs clearance procedures and regulations.
- Experience using the CANDATA system is considered an asset.
- CCS (Certified Customs Specialist) designation is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written).
