Central Builders Group is an established leader in the retail and commercial building materials and supplies sector. We have multiple locations throughout Vancouver Island with additional expansion underway. We are currently looking to fill one Yard Associate position at our location in Courtenay, BC.
If you are a self-starter, can work as part of a team, can handle physical labour and have previous experience working in the construction industry, this will be a outstanding fit!
Main Duties and Qualifications:
-Assist in the loading of trucks
-Ability to lift and move product up to 50 pounds.
-Comfortable working outdoors and in inclement weather
-Able to stand for long periods of time
-Must work well with others
-Must arrive at work on schedule and be fit for duty
-Be safety focused on the job
-Other duties as assigned
Prior experience with lumber or construction materials environment is a plus but is not required.
Forklift experience/ticket preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.65-$22.00 per hour
