- Operate cleaning equipment including floor buffers, pressure washers, and laundry machines with proper manual handling techniques.
- Manage waste disposal efficiently by emptying trash bins and recycling containers in compliance with environmental policies.
- Support infection control procedures by adhering to health guidelines and ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed.
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques such as window cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely while following safety protocols and using PPE effectively.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment including pressure washers and floor care machines is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure thorough cleanliness across all areas.
