Fleet Maintenance Manager

Tri-Gen Group Ltd. is a growing heavy civil construction company serving Northern Alberta. We're looking for an experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance department and help maximize the reliability and performance of our fleet.

This is a leadership role—not a lead mechanic position. We're looking for someone who can build teams, improve systems, leverage technology, and keep our equipment operating safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

- Lead and develop a maintenance team including mechanics, apprentices, welders, parts coordinator, warehouse coordinator, wash bay attendant, and an automotive mechanic at our secondary facility.
- Manage preventative maintenance using B2W Maintain.
- Utilize fleet-wide telematics to monitor equipment health, maintenance intervals, utilization, fault codes, and fleet performance.
- Coordinate shop and field repairs to maximize equipment uptime.
- Manage parts inventory, procurement, vendor relationships, and maintenance budgets.
- Work closely with Operations to ensure equipment is ready when needed.
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, maintenance practices, and fleet reliability.

Qualifications

- Experience leading a fleet or heavy equipment maintenance department.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.




- Knowledge of heavy construction equipment and preventative maintenance programs.
- Experience with CMMS software; B2W Maintain is a strong asset.
- Experience using telematics and maintenance data to improve fleet performance.
- Budgeting, inventory management, and vendor management experience.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.

Leadership ability and maintenance management experience are more important than holding a Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician certification.

This is a full-time, in office position based in Boyle, Alberta. Applicants must live within commuting distance or be willing to relocate.

Pay: $130,000.00-$160,000.00 per year
