Vector Electric and Controls is seeking motivated 2nd and 3rd Year Electrical Apprentices to join our Calgary team. This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced journeypersons on some of Calgary's largest water, wastewater, pumping station, and utility infrastructure projects while gaining valuable industrial electrical and instrumentation experience.

What You'll Do

As a member of our industrial electrical team, you will:

- Install conduit, cable tray, supports, and electrical equipment
- Pull, terminate, label, and test power, control, and instrumentation wiring
- Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Work safely and professionally on active construction sites
- Collaborate with supervisors, journeyperson electricians, and fellow apprentices
- Support projects at water treatment facilities,



wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and utility infrastructure sites

What We're Looking For

Required:

- Registered 2nd or 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice
- Minimum 1 year of electrical construction experience
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Preferred:

- Industrial electrical experience
- Experience with instrumentation and controls
- CSTS Certification
- Fall Protection Certification
- Aerial Work Platform Certification
- Confined Space Certification
- Standard First Aid Certification
- Experience at water or wastewater treatment facilities
