Our client is seeking a Vulnerability Management Analyst to join their overnight cybersecurity operations team.

This role is responsible for monitoring, triaging, and coordinating vulnerability management activities during after-hours operations, ensuring critical security risks are identified, assessed, and escalated in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities

+ Monitor and manage the Vulnerability Management mailbox during overnight hours.

+ Review, triage, and prioritize incoming vulnerability alerts, tickets, and requests.

+ Assess vulnerabilities to determine severity, exploitability, and business impact.

+ Validate findings and distinguish between true positives and false positives.

+ Prioritize remediation activities based on risk and organizational impact.

+ Escalate critical vulnerabilities to the appropriate technical teams and stakeholders.

+ Coordinate security incidents and ensure seamless handoffs to daytime teams.

+ Maintain accurate documentation of investigations, actions taken, and escalations.

+ Support continuous vulnerability monitoring and operational coverage across the enterprise.

Required Qualifications

+ 2+ years of experience in Vulnerability Management, Cybersecurity Operations, SOC, or Information Security.

+ Strong understanding of:

+ CVEs and vulnerability intelligence

+ CVSS scoring

+ Risk-based vulnerability prioritization

+ Vulnerability lifecycle management

+ Experience with tools such as Qualys, ServiceNow, or similar vulnerability management platforms.

+ Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during overnight hours.

+ Solid analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
