OFS (strengthened by Ironclad) is trying to change the culture of the normal fire protection services company and we are seeking a fully certified and very reliable Fire Alarm Technician to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will require to be fully CFAA certified, extremely reliable and looking for a change to an innovative, well respected fire alarm organization. As a high level Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing alarm systems, ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties.

Responsibilities

- Test, Inspect, Verify and Configure Notifier Fire alarm systems (as well as all other ULC listed manufacturers), including sensors and control panels.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of existing alarm systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installations.
- Collaborate with construction teams to integrate alarm systems into new builds.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installations.




- Provide technical support to clients regarding system operation and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls, and inspections.

Qualifications

- Full CFAA certification with at least two years experience is a must!
- Proven experience in electrical wiring and troubleshooting an asset.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and alarm technology is essential.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
- Experience with construction practices related to fire alarm system installation is a plus.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
