- Stain Application: Applying, wiping, and blending stains on wood products.
- Spray Finishing: Operating spray equipment to apply clear coats, sealers, and lacquers.
- Color Matching: Mixing and matching stains to meet specific color specifications.
- Preparation: Cleaning, sanding, and prepping surfaces for finishing.
- Quality Control: Inspecting finished products for defects.
- Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining spray booths and equipment.
- Experience: Generally 3+ years of experience as a wood spray finisher or in a similar production role.
- Skills:
Strong knowledge of wood finishes, stains, and lacquers.
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting and carrying heavy objects (up to 75 lbs).
- Detail-Oriented: A critical eye for quality and consistency.
- Tools: Familiarity with spray guns and finishing tools.
- Hourly Rate: $23.50 per hour
