Duties

- Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders and established protocols
- Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document health status using medical terminology and electronic health records systems such as Epic or Cerner
- Assist with procedures including phlebotomy, pain management, and laboratory specimen collection
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, seniors requiring assisted living support, or those receiving hospice care
- Support case management activities by coordinating patient services and communicating with multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medication use, and self-care strategies




- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and ensure safety protocols are rigorously followed

Skills

- Proven experience in nursing home, hospital, or acute care environments with a strong background in patient care and medical procedures
- Skilled in medication administration, medical terminology, phlebotomy, and laboratory procedures
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner for documentation and order entry
- Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, seniors, dementia patients, and hospice clients
- Knowledge of assisted living practices, home care protocols, pain management techniques, and case management processes
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and educate patients’ families
- Ability to adapt quickly to different clinical settings while maintaining high standards of care

Pay: $30.00-$44.18 per hour
