MEAT Associate

Responsibilities

· Greet and assist customers with questions, recommendations and reaching for items.

· Support customers in any situation of emergency and accident and inform manager/supervisor immediately

· Daily placement of merchandise to make it available to customers

· Handle and prepare meat products

- Wrapping, packaging, labelling meat and meat products
- Stocking and maintaining the meat display
- Carrying out stock rotation

· Proceed customer meat orders and special order meat product requests

· Order and receive stock in accordance with company inventory control procedures as required

· Maintain a clean and safe working environment as per Company requirements

· Comply and implement all applicable company standards

· Comply with all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety, company policies,



and other programs and initiatives

· Participate in the training of junior staff

· Other duties as required

Qualifications

· Ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team

· Strong sense of hygiene and cleanliness

· Able to move, lift and carry a minimum of 20-50lbs

· Flexible to work weekdays and weekends shifts as required

· Able to stand and walk around for long periods at a time

· Must be able to work in a cold environment consistently

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.25 per hour
