Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver circle lessons and art along with scheduled themes
- teach self Help skills and faciliate play encouraging co operation, sharing and turn taking.
- Create a positive , safe and engaging learning environment for students
- work as a team with other staff to enhance the experience for each child
- play and engage with each child to build connections
Experience:
- Previous experience teaching or working with children
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage classroom behaviours and facilitate play
- Ability to demonstrate teamwork and initiative
- basic cleaning skills ( sweeping , vacuuming, mopping, wash dishes and tables) as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid ECE certificate
-first aid certificate
-clean criminal record check
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
This is a part-time position 12-5:30 with possibility for extension to 9:30-5:30
Working with 3-5 and out of school aged
Depending on qualifications wage us 21-23 plus wage enhancements
We are looking for someone to enter training end of Aug beginning of September
