Responsibilities would include;

- Assisting the Operations and Project Managers with all aspects of project delivery.

- Analyze and audit projects costs vs project estimates.

- Advise management on where savings and efficiencies can be improved upon.

- Apply electrical and code knowledge to resolve problems or issues.

- Purchasing materials and tools for projects and ensure their timely delivery.

- Negotiate pricing with suppliers.

- Create purchase orders for project materials and input supplier invoice into accounting software.

- Producing project schedules in MS Project with input from the project manager.

- Create and schedule work orders.

- Manage permits with the Electrical Safety Authority.

- Coordinate company driver and external couriers to ensure materials and tools arrive to job sites on time.

- General administrative tasks.

Candidate should have a college or university degree in one or more of these disciplines; electrical, construction,



engineering or business.

Experience with Jonas Construction Software is an asset.

Knowledge of the Electrical Contracting Industry as it relates to materials and tools.

Strong math and/or accounting skills.

High level of proficiency in MS Project, MS Excel and MS Word is required.

Experience or education in electrical project management is an asset.

Team-player, positive communication skills. Professional, approachable, and customer-service oriented.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
