Position Overview
We are looking for a committed and hardworking individual who is eager to grow in Pest Control & Wildlife field to become a vital part of our organization. The successful applicant will be trained to detect and resolve pest-related concerns in both residential and commercial settings. As your skills develop through training and experience, you will take on increasing responsibility for managing your work and handling service calls independently. This position demands a blend of technical proficiency, client service excellence, and adherence to safety protocols and environmental best practices.

Primary Responsibilities

- Learn to conduct thorough property inspections to identify pest infestations and understand the nature and severity of problems.
- Develop skills in creating and implementing targeted pest mitigation plans tailored to each client’s specific needs.
- Apply a range of techniques and equipment, including power tools and hand tools, to eliminate pests safely and effectively.
- Educate clients on preventative measures and provide guidance on long-term maintenance strategies.
- Keep detailed documentation of services rendered, materials utilized, and scheduled follow-up visits.
- Coordinate with colleagues to ensure exceptional service delivery and optimize client satisfaction.
- Remain informed on industry developments, regulatory updates, and emerging pest control innovations.
- Learn Wildlife Behavior and Biological Insight: Understand the behavioral patterns, lifecycles,



and ecological traits of prevalent urban and suburban wildlife for ethical and effective removal practices.
- Structural and Construction Acumen: Capability to assess and locate access points in diverse building types by applying knowledge of structural frameworks and materials.
- Analytical Thinking and Strategic Problem Solving: Wildlife situations are often complex. The technician must be adept at evaluating the issue, pinpointing the source, and delivering a tailored, results-oriented solution.
- Physical Endurance and Adherence to Safety Standards: This physically intensive role includes activities like ladder climbing and maneuvering through tight spaces such as attics and crawl spaces. Strict observance of safety guidelines is imperative.
- Tool and Equipment Competency: Must be proficient with a variety of devices, from hand tools for structural adjustments to specialized capture and exclusion mechanisms.
- To remove fecal matter caused by wildlife and replace attic insulation if necessary.

Qualifications & Skills

- No experience is required, but it’s a plus. Previous experience that can translate into pest control or wildlife will be considered.
- Demonstrated sales acumen to articulate service benefits and upsell supplementary solutions when appropriate.
- Capability with hand and power tools is highly preferred.




- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a collaborative team across diverse settings.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills for client engagement and internal coordination.
- Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
- Working at heights is a requirement.

Additional Information

Compensation, including the use of the truck and phone, will be negotiated based on experience and performance metrics. We also offer commission incentives for each recent service contract secured by the technician.

Pay: $17.75-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 50 per week
