Personal Support Worker (PSW) – 1:1 Client Care

Job Responsibilities

- Companionship: Provide social stimulation, conversation, and mental engagement.

- Active Living:



Initiate and promote physical activity tailored to the client's abilities.

- Meal Preparation: Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals as needed.

- Personal Care: Prompt clients with their routine and assist directly with personal care.

- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean setting (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, dishes, laundry).

- Outings & Appointments: Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.

Position Requirements

- Current certification in Standard First Aid and CPR.

- Successful completion of a Criminal Background Check, including the Vulnerable Sector Screen (copy required).

COVID-19 considerations:

All caregivers are to wear a mask while with a client. Personal protective equipment is provided. All caregivers are to be up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations and provide proof of vaccination.
