Compensation: $45/hour + $10/hour bonus

Position Overview:

As an Industrial Millwright, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical systems and equipment in our industrial facilities. You will be responsible for installation, maintenance, inspection, and repairs of a wide range of machinery, contributing to the efficiency and safety of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, dismantle, assemble, maintain, and repair mechanical and process equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, implementing effective solutions.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders to execute tasks accurately.
- Perform precision alignment and adjustments of machinery and components.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

- Valid Industrial Mechanic/Millwright certification or equivalent.
- Proven experience in industrial or heavy-duty environments, preferably in mining or manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with workplace safety standards and procedures.
- Willingness to work 10-hour shifts and travel to Thompson, MB.

Experience

- Previous experience in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings is essential.
- Experience with Hoists, Jaw crushers and dewatering systems is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex mechanical issues.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management.
