Glen Hill Terrace is currently seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our team on a casual basis. This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to delivering high-quality care and value flexibility in their work schedule.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) and/or Registered Nurse (RN), the PSW provides direct personal care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans, organizational policies, and established standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide personal care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Follow and contribute to resident care plans, reporting any changes in condition to the nursing team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
- Support residents’ participation in recreational and therapeutic activities
- Ensure a safe, clean, and respectful setting for residents
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
- Demonstrate strong customer service when interacting with residents, families, and visitors




- Adhere to infection prevention & control, occupational health & safety, and Ministry of Long-Term Care requirements

Qualifications

- Certificate as a Personal Support Worker from a recognized educational institution
- Previous experience in long-term care preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to complete electronic documentation
- Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care

The successful candidate will be required to provide a current vulnerable sector screening, acceptable proof of compliance with the Glen Hill Terrace's Coronavirus Immunization Policy, as well as the 2-step TB test or Chest X-ray, in compliance with the Ministry of Long-Term Care

Pay: $24.29-$26.48 per hour
