Work as a Frontline Youth Worker for our Transitional Housing location of up to 15 youth - aged 16-24.
Provide support in house for youth, de-escalating crisis situations, knowledge of community supports for referrals, completing intakes. House management - supervise youth in house, completing routine room checks. Housework (cleaning, laundry, organizing supplies, sorting donations) and cooking is a requirement of this position. Interacting with public, answering phones, partnerships with other agencies and occasionally interacting with EMS. Documentation of incidents in house.
