Overview
We are seeking a friendly and productive Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, and experience in a rapid-paced restaurant environment. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Prior experience with POS systems like Micros POS is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and handling procedures. The successful candidate will be a team player dedicated to creating memorable experiences for our patrons.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
- Engage with guests in a friendly, skilled manner to enhance their dining experience
- Operate POS systems such as Clover for order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards
- Manage multiple drink orders efficiently while ensuring accuracy in serving
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashing out customers and balancing registers
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
- Assist in serving food when required, supporting overall restaurant operations
- Follow all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Clopver and cashiering procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and change calculation
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly following legal requirements and company policies
- Hospitality-oriented attitude with a focus on creating welcoming atmospheres for guests
