Responsibilities

- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is ready for procedures
- Assist dentists during various treatments, including exams, cleanings, restorations, orthodontics, and pediatrics
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Open Dental system
- Provide excellent patient communication, explaining procedures and post-treatment care clearly
- Support administrative tasks like scheduling appointments and managing patient check-in/check-out processes as a dental receptionist when needed




- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and sterilization standards

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant Level II or similar role with proficiency in dental assisting techniques
- Familiarity with dental management software like Open Dental is highly preferred
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology enhances your ability to support diverse patient needs
- Experience with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology used in dental restorations is a plus
- Strong understanding of infection control procedures and sterilization standards
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
- Certification in dental assisting or related fields required; additional certifications in orthodontics or pediatrics are advantageous

Pay: $20.70-$34.67 per hour
