Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Gas Station Attendant to provide excellent customer service and ensure smooth operation of our convenience store and fueling station. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, handling transactions, maintaining cleanliness, and promoting additional sales. Bilingual skills and familiarity with retail sales, POS systems, and basic merchandising are highly valued to enhance the customer experience and support store operations.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling, purchases, and inquiries
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Manage cashiering duties including processing payments via cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments
- Perform basic merchandising tasks such as restocking shelves and organizing displays
- Conduct product demos or upselling to promote store items and services
- Maintain cleanliness of the store, fuel area, and equipment to ensure safety standards are met
- Handle phone inquiries professionally using proper phone etiquette




- Assist in inventory management and stock organization
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies at all times

Skills

- Excellent customer service and communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Strong organizational skills with effective time management
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Experience with retail sales, merchandising, or cashiering preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and technology sales is advantageous
- Ability to perform product demos and upsell effectively to increase sales opportunities
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong interpersonal skills including phone etiquette and professionalism in all interactions
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
