Speedvale pet hospital in Guelph , ON is looking for a full time Veterinary Receptionist / Assistant to joint our team.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule appointments and assist with patient check-ins
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly
- Maintain electronic medical records accurately
- Handle billing and insurance verification tasks
- Assist with administrative duties as needed
Experience
- Prior experience with Avimark, Microsoft, or similar electronic medical records systems Required.
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology is a must
- Experience working in a veterinary office setting is a must
- Proficiency in using phone systems and office equipment
- Robust administrative skills with attention to detail
- Multitasking is highly valued.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
