Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing front desk operations with efficiency and a friendly demeanor. This role requires excellent communication skills, familiarity with dental office procedures, and proficiency in electronic medical records systems. The Dental Receptionist will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations, scheduling appointments, and providing exceptional patient service.

Responsibilities

- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and relay messages
- Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records accurately
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
- Collect payments and process billing transactions efficiently
- Maintain organized front desk area and ensure all administrative tasks are completed promptly




- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes while maintaining confidentiality of medical information
- Support the dental team with administrative duties as needed, including filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and office policies

Experience

- Minimum 2 years prior experience as a Dental Receptionist
- Experience handling electronic medical records (EMRs) and managing front desk operations in a fast-paced environment
- Strong office experience including administrative tasks, multi-line phone systems, and customer service skills
- Previous experience working with insurance verification and billing processes is advantageousThis position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of a dedicated healthcare team in a qualified environment focused on patient care excellence.

Pay: $30.00-$32.00 per hour
