Production Worker / Colour Matching Technician - No Experience Required!

Our client is a well-established global manufacturer and distributor of printing inks, with over a century of expertise in supplying high-quality products to the printing industry. They pride themselves on delivering top-tier ink solutions, raw materials, and exceptional customer service.

To support their Canadian operations, our client is seeking a detail-oriented Colour Matching and Quality Control Technician to maintain product consistency and meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

- Assess printed and wet ink samples from customers to develop accurate production formulas for colour matching.
- Use colour match software to check, test, and record formulas and sample data.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain the Epson Digital Proof Printer to produce digital ink proofs for customers.
- Perform quality control tests on production batches to ensure they meet specifications before packaging and release.
- Calibrate and maintain spectrophotometers, laboratory printing equipment, and other testing instruments.
- Enter and update colour match,



quality control, and production data in SAP.
- Manage colour reference standards, production batch samples, and quality records.

Qualifications

- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with computers and learning current software.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with colour measurement instruments, laboratory testing, or quality control processes is an asset.
- Familiarity with SAP and colour management software is an asset.
- Must pass a colour vision test to ensure accurate colour assessment.
- Able to work versatile 8.5-hour shifts between 6:00am and 8:30pm.
