Job Summary:

Amego Electric Vehicles is seeking a driven and experienced Business Manager / Store Manager to lead store performance across sales, operations, and customer experience. This role owns in-store and online sales, team performance, and operational output—including bike builds, shipping, merchandising, and customer satisfaction.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on execution, accountability, and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for optimizing the business using data, systems, and AI-driven tools to increase efficiency, sales, and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership (In-Store & Online)

- Own and drive total store sales performance, including retail and Shopify/e-commerce
- Lead the team to hit and exceed sales targets, conversion rates, and AOV
- Actively sell, close deals, and coach staff on sales performance
- Use data and reporting to identify opportunities and improve margins

Team Management & Accountability

- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team
- Build and manage schedules based on traffic, demand, and sales goals
- Set clear KPIs and hold team members accountable to performance standards
- Create a culture of ownership, urgency, and execution

Operations: Builds, Shipping & Output

- Own bike build output, service flow, and shipping performance
- Ensure all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time (retail + online)
- Identify bottlenecks and implement systems to increase throughput




- Drive operational efficiency and reduce delays and errors

Customer Experience

- Own end-to-end customer experience and satisfaction
- Ensure customers are proactively updated on orders, pickups, and delays
- Resolve issues quickly and professionally
- Drive reviews, referrals, and repeat business

Inventory & Merchandising

- Own inventory accuracy, purchasing, and stock optimization
- Ensure strong merchandising both in-store and online
- Improve inventory turnover and reduce aging stock
- Align inventory with sales demand and forecasting

Business Performance, Systems & AI Optimization

- Own and track KPIs across sales, operations, and team performance
- Aggressively leverage AI tools to:
- Automate repetitive tasks and workflows
- Improve inventory forecasting and purchasing decisions
- Optimize pricing, merchandising, and product listings
- Enhance customer communication and follow-ups
- Analyze performance data and identify growth opportunities
- Continuously implement better systems, dashboards, and processes
- Drive efficiency, reduce manual work, and scale output with technology
- Manage store expenses, payroll, and overall profitability

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in retail management or business operations,



ideally in hard goods (bikes, electronics, sporting goods)
- Strong track record of driving sales and managing team performance
- Experience with Shopify, POS systems (Lightspeed or similar), and inventory systems
- Demonstrated ability to use data, systems, and AI tools to improve business performance
- Highly analytical and systems-oriented mindset
- Robust leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage both sales and operations at a high level
- Organized, fast-paced, and execution-focused
