HRIS (Workday) Specialist
On behalf of our oil & gas client, Procom is searching for an HRIS (Workday) Specialist for a 6 month contract role with potential for extension or perm conversion. This position is onsite at our client’s Calgary office.
HRIS (Workday) Specialist - Job Description:
The HRIS (Workday) Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Workday platform with a focus on Canadian Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, and Leave. The role involves leading testing activities and delivering advanced reporting solutions to support business needs.
HRIS (Workday) Specialist - Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage End-to-End (E2E), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Parallel Testing activities
- Design, build, and deliver Workday reports and analytics solutions
- Support Canadian payroll processes and workforce requirements in unionized environments
- Ensure compliance with payroll, time tracking, and leave management processes
- Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Drive issue resolution and deployment independently
HRIS (Workday) Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
- 10+ years of Workday experience
- Active Workday certifications
- Expertise in Canadian Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, and Leave (PATT)
- Strong reporting experience, including Advanced and Matrix Reports
- Proven experience in E2E, UAT, and Parallel Testing
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong project management skills
